During this week, we visited two of Universal's parks and all four of Walt Disney World's esteemed attractions. This particular blog will focus specifically on Epcot, not because the other parks didn't live up to my standards (not that my standards matter at all), but because we actually did Epcot how I feel everyone should.
If you don't know much about WDW, here is a brief synopsis: There are 4 major parks that encompass WDW (Walt Disney World), and these are Magic Kingdom, The Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM), The Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. Each park has their own major attractions and are memorable in their own way. Because of this, I find it hard to pick a favorite.
However, I was more than pleasantly surprised with Epcot. Having only been 1 other time in my life, we were rushed then, so this trip made it all worth my while.
Epcot is divided into two parts: Future World and World Showcase.
Because we are all of age, we decided that this day needed to be spent drinking around the world at the World Showcase.
THE MOST FUN EVER.
There are 11 countries, and each one has a drink menu, as well as a food menu that every one should experience at least once in their lifetime. The following will be a collection of pictures from our time spent in every country, mostly of the drinks (we were wrapped up in the alcohol that we forgot the yummy food pictures -drink responsibly folks!)
So, without further ado, I'm happy to have you all here to immerse into our wonderful 11 hour day of WDW's most underrated parks.
Hope you all enjoy!
France is personally one of my favorite countries that I've ever visited, and EPCOT didn't disappoint with this experience. We saw a live show with a several Memes that included a daunting balancing tower of chairs, while we secretly hoped that Lady and the Tramp would coming running past.
Also, this country itself is beautiful and I think the most detailed country in all of Epcot. It had several alley ways and a ton of different shops, so take your time and look around. You'll feel as though you're visiting Agraba.
Simply put THE BEST.
If you are a sweets lover like myself, get the gelato. It's not in any fancy cone (not really IG worthy of a picture), but your belly will be thanking you later.
Baijoe Punch and Tipsy Ducks in Love. I ended the sentence right there for effect. These drinks aren't for the faint at heart. I hope I've remember the names correctly, but the one on the right IS strong. As this was one of our last stops in the Showcase, the bartenders made sure to ask our husbands if we were okay to continue drinking. Nevertheless, I actually throughly enjoyed both drinks. Baijoe Punch is vodka based, and the coffee looking one has bourbon whiskey.
The food is AMAZING as well. Get the Egg Rolls. You won't regret it.
On a completely unrelated note: I've added a new (and probably unrealistic at this point in my life) goal and that would be to visit Walt Disney World every year.
I LOVE IT.
