Boy is married life different! I mean that in the best possible way. I won't be redundant or even mushy here (actually, I can't promise that), but I wanted to share 6 things I have learned from the first half year of married life.
It takes compromise daily to make a marriage work. For example, when he wants that red and blue Trolli sour worm, I cut it in half, and now we're both happy.
Laugh, laugh, laugh, and laugh. That's really all you need. We're constantly smiling and ugly laughing because you can't take life too seriously all the time.
Loving each other is a humbling experience. Before this, our parents were our worst critics. Now more than ever, we know each other's shortcomings, but love each other more for it.
Hurt happens. Being there without saying anything is the best thing. Its a simple hug when you're uncontrollably crying, hand holding when there aren't any words, and forehead kisses when you realize everything will be okay.
You're living with your best friend. Sometimes it's sleepover parties 24/7, and sometimes you want to wring their neck because they forgot to empty their pockets for the wash. I'd say it's 75/25 to sleepover parties.
Fri-dates are the best days. It's important to us that we fall in love all over again constantly, and our weekly Putt Putt matches or dinner dates do just that.

A few hundred days in, a million more to go babe!
